Commissioner Staples Introduces New Fuel Pump Sticker, Mobile Website and Higher Fines to Enhance Consumer Protection
Texas Department of Agriculture quadruples penalties for stations that cheat consumers, increases other penalties as much as tenfold, and shuts down fuel pumps not registered with the state HOUSTON - Gas stations that shortchange drivers will pay higher fines as consumers are now able to easily access fuel pump inspection history and file on-site complaints.  More
