Grain Warehouse
The purpose of the Grain Warehouse Program is to protect producers who deposit agriculture commodities in public storage and ensure the financial integrity of the industry.  Warehouse regulation is intended to ensure that warehousemen maintain the quantity and quality of grain stored for farmers and other depositors.

The inspection program administers and enforces laws relating to grain storage and requires that any entity which stores grain for the public has to have either a TDA or a USDA issued license. This allows TDA to ensure that Texas producers have a safe and solvent warehouse for their commodities.
