Slaughter Cattle:

As of 3:00 PM Tuesday in the Texas Panhandle, negotiated cash trading has been at a standstill. In Kansas and Nebraska negotiated cash trading has been mostly inactive on light demand. In the Western Cornbelt negotiated cash trading has been limited on light demand. Not enough purchases for a market trend in any region. Last week in the Southern Plains live purchases traded at 137.00. For the prior week in Nebraska live and dressed purchases traded from 144.00-149.00 and at 232, respectively. For the previous week in the Western Cornbelt live and dressed purchases traded from 145.00-150.00 and at 232.00, respectively.
