Slaughter Cattle:

As of 3:00 PM Thursday in the Southern Plains, negotiated cash trading has been moderate with light to moderate demand. In the Texas Panhandle compared to the last reported market on Tuesday live purchases traded 0.50-1.00 higher from 135.50-136.00. In Kansas compared to the last reported market on Tuesday live purchases traded 1.00 higher at 136.00. In Nebraska and Western Cornbelt negotiated cash trading has been limited on light demand. Not enough purchases in these regions for a market trend. In Nebraska the last reported market was on Wednesday with live and dressed purchases at 140.00 and from 225.00232.00, respectively. In the Western Cornbelt the last reported live purchase market was on Wednesday with trades from 141.00-114.50. Last week dressed purchases traded from 224.00-228.00.
