Slaughter Cattle:

As of 3:00 PM Wednesday, negotiated cash trading has been slow on light demand in the Southern Plains, Nebraska and Western Cornbelt. In the Texas Panhandle, compared to last week, live purchases traded steady to 1.00 higher at 150.00. In Kansas, compared to last week, live purchases traded steady at 150.00 and a few dressed purchases traded at 238.00. Not enough purchases in Nebraska and Western Cornbelt for a full market trend. For the previous week in Nebraska live and dressed purchases traded at 153.00 and 242.00, respectively. Last week in the Western Cornbelt live and dressed purchases traded at 153.00 and from 240.00-242.00, respectively.
