Slaughter Cattle:

As of 3:00 PM Thursday in Nebraska and Western Cornbelt, negotiated cash trading has been limited on light demand. In Nebraska, a few early live and dressed purchases traded at 157.00 and at 249.00, respectively. However, not enough purchases in either region for a full market trend. The prior week was the last reported market in these regions. In Nebraska live and dressed purchases traded from 157.00-158.00 and at 245.00, respectively. In the Western Cornbelt live and dressed purchases traded from 155.00-157.00 and at 245.00, respectively. In the Southern Plains and Colorado negotiated cash trading has been mostly inactive on very light demand. Not enough purchases in these regions for a market trend. In the Southern Plains Wednesday was the last reported market with live purchases at 155.00. In Colorado no recent has been reported.
