Commissioner Miller Criticizes President for Vetoing Keystone Pipeline Bill (2/24/2015)

AUSTIN – Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller offered the following comment after President Obama vetoed legislation authorizing construction of the Keystone pipeline.

“This veto is another example of President Obama’s anti-job and pro-radical extremism,” said Commissioner Miller. “The Keystone pipeline will bring thousands of jobs to Texas, and studies have shown it will not hurt our environment. Now is the time for Americans to demand action from Congress to override this veto and send a powerful message to the president that he is out of touch with our nation’s hardworking citizens.”
