Texas Department of Agriculture Releases First GO TEXAN® Christmas Gift Guide (11/30/2018)

AUSTIN – Today, Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller proudly released the first GO TEXAN® Holiday Gift Guide to help Texans go local and GO TEXAN®  this holiday season. The electronic publication is available for free to subscribers of the monthly GO TEXAN® ezine and on the GO TEXAN® website. It highlights hand-crafted specialty items ranging from food and beverages to health and beauty from more than 80 GO TEXAN® member companies.

"If you are looking for the perfect Texas-made gift for friends and family this Christmas, look no further," Commissioner Miller said. "Our new GO TEXAN® Holiday Gift Guide will help you find a great locally-made product and help you spread Christmas joy with Texas pride!  So avoid the malls and don't spend your money out of state.
Remember, when you give the gift of Texas-made products, you are giving the best of Texas."

Created in 1999, the Texas Department of Agriculture GO TEXAN® program supports the business savvy and plainspoken grit Texas agriculture is known for throughout the world. Hundreds of GO TEXAN® members rely on the use of the iconic GO TEXAN® mark in the shape of Texas to show their products are made with Texas pride.  The  GO TEXAN® monthly ezine highlights the latest news on Texas food, wine, restaurants, recipes, gardening, style and more.
