Slaughter Cattle:  

As of 3:00 PM Tuesday, negotiated cash trade was mostly inactive on light demand in all feeding regions. The latest established market in any feeding region was last week with live purchases in the Texas Panhandle from 111.00-112.00. In Kansas last week, live purchases traded at 112.00. Last week in Nebraska, live purchases traded from 112.00-114.00 with dressed purchases from 182.00-185.00. In the Western Cornbelt for the previous week live purchases traded mostly at 115.00 with dressed purchases from 182.00-185.00.

Alberta Beef Producers Daily Report: Alberta CA

Alberta direct cattle sales Monday saw no new trade to report. This week's showlist has been compiled with volumes larger than the previous week. Beef exports continue to be a positive story for the Canadian industry. Total Canadian beef exports for the first five months of this year are up 19% in volumes compared to last year and up 31% in value. Canada's #1 export partner is the US and #2 is Japan.
