Slaughter Cattle:

As of 3:00 PM Monday, negotiated cash trading in the Southern and Northern Plains has been at a standstill. Last week in the Southern Plains live trades moved at 95.00. For the prior week in the Northern Plains live trades moved at 96.00 and, in Nebraska, dressed trades moved mostly at 157.00. So far for Monday in the Western Cornbelt negotiated cash trading has been inactive with very light demand. Not enough trades for a market trend. Last week live trades moved from 99.00-100.00 and dressed trades moved mostly from 157.00-160.00.
