Slaughter Cattle:

As of 3:00 PM Thursday, negotiated cash trading has been slow with light to moderate demand in all feeding regions. In the Southern Plains and Nebraska a few live purchases moved at 107.00. In Nebraska a few dressed purchases moved at 168.00. In the Western Cornbelt a few live and dressed purchases moved from 107.00 to 108.00 and 168.00, respectively. However, not enough purchases in any feeding region for a full market trend. The last fully reported market in all regions was on Wednesday. In the Texas Panhandle live purchases moved from 107.00 to 108.00. In Kansas, Nebraska and Western Cornbelt live purchases moved at 107.00. In Nebraska and Western Cornbelt dressed purchases moved at 167.00.
