Slaughter Cattle:

As of 3:00 PM Thursday, negotiated cash trading in Kansas has been slow on light to moderate demand. Compared to last week live purchases moved steady to 1.00 higher from 107.00-108.00, mostly 108.00. In Nebraska the Western Cornbelt negotiated cash trading has been limited on light demand with a few live purchases in Nebraska at 108.00. In the Texas Panhandle negotiated cash trading has been at a standstill. Not enough purchases in these regions for a market trend. Last week in the Texas Panhandle, Nebraska, and the Western Cornbelt live purchases moved mostly at 107.00. In Nebraska dressed purchases moved at 168.00. In the Western Cornbelt dressed purchases moved from 167.00-168.00 for the previous week.
