Slaughter Cattle:

As of 3:00 PM Wednesday negotiated cash trading in the Southern Plains and Nebraska has been slow on light to moderate demand. In the Southern Plains live purchases moved 1.00 lower at 108.00 when compared to last week. In Nebraska dressed purchases have moved 1.00 lower at 169.00 when compared to last week. A few live purchases have moved at 108.00, however not enough for a full market trend. Last week in Nebraska live purchases moved at 108.00. In the Western Cornbelt negotiated cash trading limited on light demand, however not enough purchases for a full market trend. The last reported market on Tuesday live purchases moved at 107.00. Last week dressed purchases moved from 169.00-170.00.

The FCE On-Line Auction offered 774 head in Kansas, Nebraska, & Texas today with 671 head in KS & TX selling for $108.00 & $108.25.
