Slaughter Cattle:

As of 3:00 PM Friday, negotiated cash trading has been mostly inactive on light demand in Kansas and at a standstill in the Texas Panhandle. In Nebraska and the Western Cornbelt negotiated cash trading has been limited on light demand with a few live purchases in Nebraska at 106.00. Not enough purchases in any region for a full market trend. The last reported market in the Southern Plains was on Thursday with live purchases at 106.00. In Nebraska on Thursday, live purchases traded at 103.00 and last week dressed purchases traded from 162.00-166.00. In the Western Cornbelt on Thursday, live purchases traded from 101.00-103.00 and last week dressed purchases traded from 163.00-165.00.
