Slaughter Cattle:

As of 3:00 PM Thursday in Nebraska, negotiated cash trading and demand have been moderate. Live purchases traded steady at 107.00 when compared to the last market on Wednesday. Compared to last week dressed purchases, on a light test, traded 4.00-9.00 higher at 167.00. So far for Thursday in the Western Cornbelt negotiated cash trading has been slow with moderate demand. Compared to last week live purchases have moved 3.00-4.00 higher from 105.00-106.00 and dressed purchases, on a light test, have moved 2.00-9.00 higher at 167.00. Thus far for Thursday in the Southern Plains negotiated cash trading has been mostly inactive on very light demand. Not enough purchases for a market trend. The last fully reported market was on Wednesday with live trades at 107.00.
