Slaughter Cattle:

As of 3:00 PM Thursday, negotiated cash trading in Kansas has been slow on light demand with live purchases 1.00 lower compared to last week at 110.00. In Nebraska, negotiated cash trading has been slow on light demand with live and dressed purchases steady compared to Wednesday from 109-110 and 172-174 respectfully. Negotiated cash trading in the Texas Panhandle and the Western Cornbelt has been limited on light demand, not enough purchases for a full market trend. The latest reported market in the Texas Panhandle was on Wednesday with live purchases from 110.00- 112.00. In the Western Cornbelt on Wednesday, live purchases traded at 109.00 and dressed purchases traded at 172.00.
