Slaughter Cattle:

As of 3:00 PM Wednesday in Nebraska, negotiated cash trading has been slow to moderate with moderate demand. Compared to last week live purchases have traded 1.00-2.00 lower at 105.00 and dressed purchases have traded 3.00 lower at 165.00. So far for Wednesday in the Western Cornbelt negotiated cash trading has been limited on light demand. A few early live and dressed purchases have traded at 105.00 and 165.00, respectively. Not enough purchases for a full market trend. In the Southern Plains negotiated cash trading has been at a standstill in the Southern Plains for Wednesday. Last week in the Southern Plains live purchases traded at 108.00. For the previous week in the Western Cornbelt live and dressed purchases traded from 104.00-105.00 and mostly at 168.00.
