Slaughter Cattle:

As of 3:00 PM Thursday in the Southern Plains and Nebraska, negotiated cash trading has been limited on light demand. In the Southern Plains a few live purchases traded at 108.00. Not enough for a full market trend. Last week live purchases were at 108.00. In Nebraska a few live purchases traded steady with Wednesday’s market at 105.00. Wednesday dressed purchases were at 165.00. Thus far for Thursday in the Western Cornbelt negotiated cash trading has been inactive on light demand. Not enough purchases for a market trend. Wednesday was the last reported market with live and dressed purchases at 105.00 and 165.00, respectively.
