Slaughter Cattle:

As of 3:00 PM Wednesday, negotiated cash trading and demand in the Texas Panhandle have been light to moderate with live purchases 1.00 lower compared to the last reported market on Tuesday at 110.00. In Kansas negotiated cash trading and demand have been light to moderate with live purchases 1.00-3.00 lower compared to last week from 109.00-111.00. Negotiated cash trading in Nebraska has been slow on light to moderate demand with a few dressed purchases at 172.00, however not enough for a full market trend. The latest reported market was on Tuesday with live purchases from 109.00-110.00 and dressed purchases from 173.00-174.00. In Colorado negotiated cash trading and demand were light to moderate with live purchases steady compared to Tuesday at 109.00. Negotiated cash trading in the Western Cornbelt was slow on light demand, not enough purchases for a full market trend. The latest reported market in the Western Cornbelt was on Tuesday with live purchases from 108.00-109.00 and dressed purchases from 173.00-174.00.
