Blanket Extensions
The Cotton Producer Advisory Committee may request a blanket deadline extension if widespread adverse conditions prevent completion of stalk destruction across an entire area. If a blanket extension is granted for your Cotton Destruction Zone, a press release is sent to local newspapers in the affected area and a list of approved extensions are available on the TDA website.
Individual Extensions
A producer in any Pest Management Zone may email, fax or mail a request for an individual extension (for the forms and instructions, please click on the preceding highlighted text).
If practical, please email your extension requests (as attachments) to Cotton@TexasAgriculture.gov
Otherwise, fax your extension requests to 1-888-215-5208.
If neither of the preceding is practical, mail your extension requests to:

Please note that failure to provide all required information can result in denial of your extension request.
